Scarf
After the doll hat, I didn't immediately return to the green hat.
I made a scarf.
The yarn looked prettier in a ball than knitted up, somehow. But it was a good confidence-builder. I also learned the reason why most knitters stear away from acrylic and stick to natural fibers, the curling is terrible. I hope my friend (who lives where there is snow) likes it anyway.

Hat
If you recall in this post, I was having trouble knitting a certain green hat. Well...
10th time was a charm! Actually, I lost count. But anyway, DONE!

Potholder and apron
One of the blogs I enjoy is Patchwork Pottery. There are more images in her Flickr account. I particularly liked these potholders. So I made one for my mom for Christmas by making some modifications to the pattern in this book!

And for good measure, I made this matching apron from this pattern.
I really like the way it turned out. Though, it apparently needs ironing...

Doll Clothes
Now that Christmas is over, everyone can see all the things I made!
Here is a set of doll clothes for my DH's niece. It consists of a shirt, skirt, jacket, and hat. You may recognize the hat.
Everything but the skirt is made of scraps! Even the bias tape on the jacket. I think I've been holding on to that piece of bias tape since high school...
